Megan Clayton

I provide editorial commentary and proofreading services for your academic writing and translation.

My current and past projects have included independent reading and editorial assessment of PhD and masters’ theses, advice on style for research and study applications and editorial support for writers and students with learning disabilities.

My areas of advisory and expertise are in academic style, idiom and research design in the humanities and social sciences: literary studies, cultural studies and sociology.  I specialise in working with scholars and students whose first language is not English.

I have a PhD in English Literature from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand, where I teach in Bridging Programmes, part of Continuing and Bridging Education, and a PG Dip Tert T from the University of Otago.

I maintain recreationally the Harvest Bird blog and can also be found socially on Twitter as @harvestbird.
